With Fashion Week in full swing around the world make-up artists have been skillfully bustling with their brushes to put the final beauty touch to the models. Mazette Media has scouted beauty trends on the runways and also the innovation coming to the industry that MakeUp in New York presented in its B2B event.
One of the enduring trend that has already hit the street is the no make-up make-up. Very natural models walked on the catwalk including at the Supima show. The mode featured here wears a bit of raspberry lipstick and a flawless skin with a subtile sheer effect.
Another make-up trick is to embellish eye lids with a solid white eye shadow like for instance at the Noon by Noor show while other artists prefer a burst of vivid colors next to the eyes!
We loved discovering the beauty novelties in the MakeUp in New York Innovation Tree: stackable lip glosses by S &J INTERNATIONAL (left), a FLOWER LIP BALM encrusted with flowers like little gems (top right) and the artful and colorful brushes by PENNELLIFARO (bottom right)!
At the closing party students from America and Europe proved that innovation will keep flourishing. MakeUp awarded the University of Houston, Esepac and Rutgers University at the second edition of its packaging contest.
So we may one day hold a smart clean compact and many more fun beauty accessories in our purse!
